How to Type Faster on Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch: 11 Steps

Want to type faster on your iPhone, iPad, and/or iPod Touch? Read this article, and your fingers will be flying across the screen!
STEPS

UNLOCK YOUR DEVICE, AND THEN GO TO THE SETTINGS APP.

SCROLL DOWN AND TAP GENERAL.

SCROLL DOWN AND TAP KEYBOARD.

TURN OFF: Auto-Capitalization, Auto-Correction, Check Spelling, Enable Caps Lock, and "." Shortcut.

PRESS THE HOME BUTTON.

TAP THE NOTES APP.

TAP THE + IN THE TOP RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE APP.

TYPE: "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." (without the quotation marks). Type this three times at your normal typing pace. Make sure you press the Shift button on the keyboard. Also, make sure you end your sentence with a period.

NOW, KEEP TYPING THE SENTENCE, EACH TIME GETTING A LITTLE FASTER AND FASTER.

AFTER YOU GET "FAST ENOUGH", GO BACK TO YOUR HOME SCREEN. Tap the Settings app, and re-enable all of the typing assistants. Enabling these should make you even faster!
