How to Find out How Much Space Is Left on Your iPod Touch or iPhone

Downloaded a bunch of songs, but want to know how much space you actually have left on your iPhone or iPod Touch? Follow these simple steps.

METHOD 1 OF 2: IPHONE METHOD

GO TO THE HOME SCREEN. This can be done by pressing the Home Button (iOS 3 and above).

TAP "SETTINGS".

TAP "GENERAL".

TAP "ABOUT".

UNDER "AVAILABLE" YOU WILL SEE HOW MUCH SPACE YOU HAVE LEFT ON YOUR DEVICE.
METHOD 2 OF 2: ITUNES METHOD

PLUG YOUR IPHONE TO YOUR COMPUTER.

OPEN ITUNES.

UNDER "DEVICES" IN THE SIDEBAR, YOU WILL SEE YOUR IPHONE\'S NAME. If you don't, make sure your iPhone is plugged properly to your computer.

THE "SUMMARY" TAB SHOWS YOU A VIEW OF YOUR IPHONE\'S CONTENTS NEAR THE BOTTOM. Use this to determine the amount of free space (shown in gray) on your iPhone.
