How to Dry an iPhone when Dropped in Water: 6 Steps

Dropped your iPod or iPhone in the sink? Think it was done for? I'm going to show you how to fix it.
STEPS
1
TURN IT OFF IMMEDIATELY! If you leave it on, the phone/iPod will continue to draw power from the battery.
2
SUCK THE WATER OUT, SLOWLY! Physically put your mouth on the dock and suck the water out. Not too hard. Do it for about 10-15 secs.
3
DRY IT! Get a nice blow dryer and put it on a medium-low setting. Hold the blow dryer about a foot away from the phone. Put it on the medium setting and blow the device. Move the device front to back and side to side while blowing. Do this for 20-25 secs. Then blow the back of the device for about 10-15 secs on a medium high setting, and then the front for 10-15 secs.
4
PUT THE DEVICE ON A CHAIR IN-FRONT OF AN AIR CONDITIONER OR FAN. If you must, put it far away, maybe 5 feet from a heater, if you don't have either one. I recommend the air conditioner. I also recommend you put it under a lamp too.
5
WHEN YOU WAKE UP, CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR DEVICE CAN WAKE-UP. It will most likely tell you to charge. Charge your device and see if it's back to normal. If it's not responding to your touch, then you're screwed. Try charging it all the way, still no touch? You're screwed.
6
DON\'T DO THE STUPID THING YOU DID BEFORE. Everyone knows swimming pool=leave in bag. If you dropped it in the sink, remember to put it on speaker while washing the dishes/cleaning up.
TIPS
Try not to over-do the blow dry. The device has a strong resistance to heat, but please don't put the blow dryer on the highest setting.
WARNINGS
Don't suck too hard! Remember, you TURNED IT OFF before you began sucking!
Don't blow dry too hard!
