UNLOCK ALL THE CHARACTERS.

FINISH SUBSPACE EMISSARY.
While there are multiple ways to unlock these characters, these are the easiest. To unlock Wolf, you will have to beat Boss Battles Mode using Fox or Falco.
To unlock Jigglypuff, you must complete 20 of the events.
To unlock Toon Link, you must complete classic mode with Link, Zelda, or Ganondorf.

NOW THAT YOU HAVE UNLOCKED ALL THE CHARACTERS, YOU SHOULD RECEIVE AN ACHIEVEMENT, AND THEN A NOTE SAYING, "YOU HAVE UNLOCK ALL-STARS MODE."
TIPS
While these are the easiest ways to me, they may not be to others. So I'd advise looking up other articles that go into more detail, for unlocking certain characters.
Before trying to unlock any of these characters, make sure you have beaten Subspace Emissary.
WARNINGS
Be careful when battling. Although it's not impossible to unlock them if you lose, you will have to repeat actions to get another chance.
THINGS YOU\'LL NEED
You will need a working copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl
You will also need a Nintendo Wii, with Classic, Gamecube, or Wii Remote controllers. Nunchuk is optional.
Lastly, you will either need a Computer Monitor, or a TV, as long as it has a place for you to hook up your wii.
